Open New Document

Introduction

Each document you open in HotDog is opened and edited using the HotDog editor.

Create a New Document.

1. On the File Menu click on “New”.

2. Click “OK”.

Preview a Template.

1. On the File Menu click on “New”.

2. Click on the template you want to preview.

The preview of your document appears in the “Preview Window” to the left of the template icons.

Open a Template.

1. On the File Menu click on “New”.

2. Click on the template icon you want to edit.

3. Select “Open as Template”.

4. Click “OK”.

Change the Default Template Directory.

1. On the File Menu click on “New”.

2. Click Template Directory button.

3. Using the “Directory Picker” navigate to the directory you want to be the Template Directory

4. Click OK.

Change the Default Template.

1. On the File Menu click on “New”.

2. Click the “Current Normal Template” button.

3. Use the “file picker” to select the new default template.
